1) How important is post production and why do you provide
this service?
Post Production is the final
stage towards the completion of your project.
We assemble your good footage and remove the
unneeded takes or events. We add graphics
and titles, adjust the images for ideal exposure,
tweak and add sound, and so on. Many of our
clients find that having us handle their post
production needs enables them to go on more
shoots, expand their client base and ultimately
make more money. We are your partner in success
rather than a competitor for the same shoots.
2) I run a wedding videography
company. Can you work with me?
We work with clients who price
their offerings in a package format and work
with them at a fair rate to ensure high quality
and repeat patronage. We value long term relationships
with our clients and referrals. We will go
the extra mile for you.
3) I am a wedding/event
coordinator. What can you do for me?
We can help your videographers
with the videos that they shoot for you by
handling their editing backlog, ensuring timely
delivery for your clients and increasing your
bottom line.
4) My corporate video
department at my company is overflowed with
past training seminars/presentations/events
that need to be edited. Can you help us?
Absolutely. We can put together
your speakers, training exercises, panels,
slideshows, and videos all together in one
tight presentation that is sure to please
everyone.
5) My event was shot
and remains unnedited. Can you pick up where
they left off?
Definitely. If your wedding,
corporate affair or other footage was shot
be a family member or friend or your professional
videographer was not able to finish your project
for whatever reason, we can finish it for
you!
6) I'm a producer with
piles of raw footage and do not know where
to begin. How can you help me?
We are a resource for you
and can work with you to make your post production
experience far less cumbersome. We can advise
what pick-ups may be needed as well as addressing
your continuity issues to bring your projects
to delivery.
7) Why do you offer videography
services on a limited basis?
Post Production is our passion,
so we focus on what we love best and do it
well and help the professional videographers
succeed. But should you need video, our professional
staff can refer you to vendors who provide
these services and we remain available to
provide post production once shooting is complete
or as your production progresses.
8) I have a sister's
wedding that I shot and need edited, but I
see I can get add-on hardware and software
to my PC for less than $100. Why should I
consider having this work done professionally
instead?
We edit video, add graphics
and author DVDs on a daily basis. We have
many years of experience using professional-grade
equipment. Such "deals" for editing hardware
and software tends to overheat, choke and
add to your stress level with the heavy computing
requirements that video brings. In addition,
such equipment may not have all the capabilities
that you would come to expect to deliver a
beautiful archive. Consider the long term
enjoyment of your finished video or DVD, rather
than deal with possible aggrivation that can
be avoided.
9) I am seeing alot of
buzz about editing on Apple tablets or other
devices either remotely (i.e. "In the
Cloud") or on the devices themselves.
Do these machines make the project work easier
or less time consuming than at the professional
level?
Professional editing is greatly
enhanced by current and progressing technology.
However, this type of editing usually is limited
to tablet and phone presentations that may
not always have the standards or "bells and
whistles" that you may need, want or expect.
Regardless of the fast-paced and gadget-based
times of today, editing at the professional
level has the same process involving creativity
have the capability of delivery to the masses
in just about any format you can imagine.
From DVD and Blu Ray to the iPad and Blackberry
can have your work sparkling at its best.
10) How do I prepare for
an in-person or telephone consultation prior
to the start of my project?
Gather much information as
possible and as well organized as possible.
This includes your footage, any production
notes, special needs, etc.
